Research and development

Currently, the cluster is coordinating various product developments as part of its Chemical Assisted Living (CAL) market and research strategy: CAL innovations refer to chemical products, preliminary products and process innovations, which make a long-term contribution to the quality of everyday life, for instance by making industrial production more efficient and ecological.

The cluster's topics in this regard are, for instance, the field of intelligent surfaces, construction chemistry or industrial biotechnology, but also in the cross-sector topics of climate protection, energy and resource efficiency.

Chemie-Cluster Bayern supports joint projects of its members e.g. within EU-campaigns as the 7th research framework programme or the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP), and helps to apply for federal or regional funds, but also assists in the development of sales networks or marketing campaigns.
