Funding

For chemical industry, research and development is part of day-to-day operations. In very few other branches is the link between universities and industry so strongly developed. Therefore, Chemie-Cluster Bayern has been set up a project development platform – beside events, fairs and workshops, cluster partners especially benefit from project support and project management services, for instance in the field of public funded projects.

Are you a company conducting research and development? Do you currently plan concrete R&D-projects and wish to check possibilities of public funding? In particular for small- and medium-sized companies, there are currently many options of public funding schemes you could benefit from. You provide the technical input, Chemie-Cluster Bayern manages organisation and coordination, during the application and the project process.

Specific procedure

In the first step, we will be happy to visit you and discuss your plans. After having identified your partner(s) - for instance suitable research institutes or other companies – we will then also look for suitable funding programmes.

The technical management of the project is your part, organisational management and providing required documents, such as reports and receipts, can be outsourced to Chemie-Cluster Bayern. The type of funding (allowance, loan, grant) and the covered costs are depending on the funding source. The application process is realized – when requested – in cooperation with and coordinated by Chemie-Cluster Bayern, as well as the project management and all issues of project documentation.
