Profil

Der Lehrstuhl für Funktionsmaterialien beschäftigt sich mit Gas- und Abgassensoren (auch im Zusammenspiel mit Katalysatoren), elektrochemischen Sensoren und Biosensoren. Die komplette Prozesskette vom Material über die Produktentwicklung bis hin zu Test und Elektronik ist vorhanden.
Technologien: Dickschichttechnik, LTCC, Fotolithographie etc.. Weiteres: FuE-Dienstleistungen (Simulation, REM, etc.)

R&D-topics: exhaust gas sensors (also systems including catalysts) gas sensors, electrochemical sensors and biosensors. Complete technology available from material to photo typing, test and electronics. Technologies: thick film technology, LTCC, photo lithography. R& D services around sensors (SEM, simulation, etc.)
