Profil

Der Schwerpunkt der Abteilung "Funktionsmaterialen der Energietechnik" des ZAE Bayern liegt auf der Entwicklung und Optimierung von Materialien und hocheffizienten Systemen zur Wärmedämmung. Weiter befasst sich das Institut mit der Erforschung und Entwicklung von Nanomaterialien sowie organischer Solarzellen und Elektronik. Insgesamt steht ein breites Know-How für die Entwicklung und Optimierung innovativer Funktionsmaterialien zur Verfügung.

The ZAE Bayern division in Würzburg is primarily involved in developing and optimizing materials and highly-efficient systems for thermal insulation. Particular areas of research are vacuum insulation materials, high-temperature insulation materials and solar systems for daylighting and low-energy architecture. A new field of activity is the development and optimization of organic solar cells and electronics. The ZAE Bayern division in Würzburg has know-how in the fields of nanostructured materials, innovative components and rational energy system management.
